African-American Survivors of CSA Survey
A member of gen5's community, Eb Brown, is doing research and telling the stories of African American survivors of child sexual abuse. Eb's work looks at disclosure and community based interventions in African American/Black communities. Please support their work by participating in a) an annoymous online survey and/or b) a one-on-one interview.
To fill out the survey visit:
http://tellingourstoriestogether.wordpress.com/ or email Eb at AfricanAmericanCSA@yahoo.com to schedule an interview or for more information.
Eb's work is based on the fact that the state (police, child welfare, etc.) is NOT the answer to what is needed to prevent, intervene and provide a space to heal from CSA. Communities, families and individuals are the KEY and this is the first step in a broader vision!
