Documentary Film on military rape and sexual trauma - Do you have a Story?

Do you have a story about military rape/mst and sexual trauma? Do you know someone who does?

Swordfish Productions invites you to tell your story and help give a face and a voice to the victims and survivors in the documentary film FORGOTTEN ANGELS -A Matter of Honor-The Right Side of Justice

Our all women’s team has been working on shooting for this film for over 25 years- this horrific mistreatment of women has been going on forever - finally it’s now safe to be visible in the world as the subject is being addressed publically and at all levels.

Director Ann P Meredith – a survivor of rape and mst herself and ourr female crew will work with you to insure a safe space to tell your story. If you need to remain anonymous, use a different name, be filmed and photographed in shadow - it is okay. The most important thing is that your voice is heard and your story told!

We just got back from Washington D. C. where we interviewed over 60 people…

You are not alone!

Contact us at 415 623 9048 or email forgottenangels7@gmail.com for more information and to set up an interview.

Thank You.

About the facilitator, Valerie Igl, MFT:
Working with all sexual orientations and genders, I am a passionate ally for transgender people. I ran a Transgender Support Group in my private practice for over 2 years, and about 40% of my clients are LGBT or intersex, ranging in age from 12 to 65 years old. I have over 30 years of experience, including providing trainings on queer and transgender topics. I am available for custom workshops, agency in-services, or one-on-one trainings (including CEU's), tailored to your specific needs.
The Fine Print:

You can help ensure adequate enrollment by registering on time. For late registration after Wednesday, call first for availability. Pre-registration is required, even if you have attended before, so I can make appropriate preparations. No drop-ins please. If you need to cancel, even last minute, please call me ASAP. Space is limited, and seating is first come, first on the comfy couch, so arrive early to claim the best seating. For more information, contact me at VALIGL@earthlink.net or 510-527-5662 x3.

Each workshop meets the qualifications for 3 hours of continuing education credit for MFTs and LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
