This Is A Two Day Training!!
What: The Youth Worker Orientation 2-day workshop will introduce new and emerging CBO staff (particularly small and mid size agencies without the capacity to provide extensive orientation) the history, rules and regulations of working in a non profit youth serving agency as well as provide the fundamentals of Youth Development theory and practice.
Attendees will gain knowledge and skills in the following areas:
History, Mission, Structure of Non-Profits
Staffing Roles, Responsibilities and Laws
Youth Development Framework & Theory
Youth Engagement, Fading Facilitation and Communication Skills
Boundaries, Ethics, Supervision and Professional Development
Self Care
